FAQ

Ordering and Payment

~ You are required to pay 50% down when ordering your items.

~ We are not responsable for cleaning any garment after it leaves the store.

~ Please inspect your gown carefully before leaving the store as we are a specialty shop and therefore there are no refunds.

~ Layaway is available with 20% down.

~ Ordering time for bridal gowns is approximately 14-16 weeks (on average, however during the busy bridal season it can be approximately 18-20 weeks). Expedited delivery is available, ask for details.

~ Ordering time for all other special occasion dresses is approximately 10-12 weeks (on average, however during the busy bridal season it can be approximately 12-14 weeks). Expedited delivery is available, ask for details.

~ Ordering time for tuxedos: We recommend ordering your tuxedos at a minimum of 4 weeks in advance. Expedited delivery is available, ask for details.

Steaming

We will do a courtesy steaming on all formal wear and wedding gowns, purchased at our store. This is a one-time service. We offer steaming for dresses purchased elsewhere for a small fee.

Special Orders and Alterations

~ Most formal wear will require alterations. Garments are not custom made, they are standard sizes. Measurements are taken only to help determine the standard size that will come closest to your measurements at the time you were measured.

~ Alterations are not included in the price of the gown. We have a few seamstresses we recommend and use, they are seperate from our shop.

Preservation

Protect your investment. We offer the museum method preservation. Gowns are hand cleaned individually. Museum preservation techniques reduce creasin, yellowing and mildew risk, keeping your gown beautiful for a lifetime.

Wish we had shopped there first! The owner and her staff are extremely helpful, and appear to treat each bride as if she is their only customer. We bought my daughter's dress somewhere else, and found that most bridal shops with which we had an appointment were rather snooty, some even disinterested, and some you even had to pay to park to visit. Unfortunately we already had my daughter's dress, but I went in and found a beautiful and perfect mother of the bride dress. In my visits there to find the dress, and subsequent fittings I watched them work with brides and saw them matching the brides wishes with their inventory. The staff was helpful with my fitting and choice of a dress, and made me feel very special. I would recommend this to be the ONLY place to go to get a bridal gown in Denver. Easy parking, easy appointments, spacious fitting rooms and mirrors and very very personal experience!- Diane JansenI was very pleased when my daughter and I went to this shop. We had been to a few shops in town that professed to have plus size samples. That is not the case. Some shops considered a size 12 plus sized. The staff at Celestial Bride had dresses in the appropriate size and we found the perfect dress for my daughters March wedding. Dresses are very well priced and still they offer customized modifications of most gowns by the manufacterers to make the gowns modest. For instance, if you want a sleeveless dress made with sleeves and a higher neck and back--no problem. After measurements and design requests are sent to the manufacterer, a sketch is sent to the shop within a few days by a manufacter's designer for your approval or re-do. The customizing is very affordable too at less than two hundred dollars! The shop didn't have the instant wow-effect when entering, so don't let that tarnish your expectations. They can deliver anything! - VickieYou know what, I dont ever write reviews but I have to say this shop was very surprizing, I worked with Lisa and she is very friendly and made me feel comfortable right off the bat. Face it who wants to got get measured for a tux. But it was easy and very professional. The variety was excellent and the price well lets just say they beat everyone. They did not have my dress in store but they carried the designer & were able to order it for me. - BrendaAfter finding a certain dress on a designer's website, I called about six or seven other bridal salons in Colorado, and Celestial Bride was the only place that had a sample of the dress for me to try on. It was a little out of my way, but my sister and I made the 45-minute drive down, and it was completely worth the trip. Lisa was so friendly when I first spoke with her on the phone, and she was just as nice in person. Not only did she have the dress ready for me to try on when we got there, but she had also picked out three other dresses in a similar style for me to try, and encouraged us to browse around the store. Lisa was always just outside the door to help lace up the dresses, offer her opinions, and answer any questions we had. And after we had finished, she came by with some delicious wedding mints for us to try! Even though there are other salons closer to me that can order the same dress, I have no problem making the trip again to order the dress from Celestial Bride!- Krista
